Exhausted. New week coming up.

Some pictures from weeks ago- Sheesha at Clarke Quay after bitching ourselves dry at Cafe Iguana. Well, it's always good to express yourself after a week of mental and physical torture. :)

Had a cooking session over at Mel's apartment for dinner on one of the past Sundays. We (or rather Mel alone) are such great cooks! Our roast chicken and potatoes went well with the gravy and such, and we did not have a single burnt item on the dinner table. Perfecto!

(sorry, pictures were very blur, so I tried to sharpen them, but they ended up looking weird in the end)

Like every other visit, Attica was super duper a.w.e.s.o.m.e! Hail my second favourite place after ButterFactory (Rebel comes in third). Actually, I'm just a sucker for places with R&B, raggae or Hip Hop non-stop hits. Minah-minah much? Can also lah.

Time to iron the pile, clean the room and change my bedsheets. Routine Sunday about to start. Now.

FINALLY, a night spent at home, a Saturday night, no less! I feel my body, especially the feet, currently thanking me endlessly for the half hour leg massage and giving them a rest.

(Kinda have the huge probability of heading down to Wala Wala in a few hours though..)

Anyway, have a great weekend all! <3

Them = Bliss

Mikey's 26th birthday celebration + bbq party + poolside party was a blast! Days before the actual party when the both of us were planning on logistics and invitations, we were doubtful about the party's outcome, but tadah! Success! EVERYONE (apart from the sour ex, but that's a totally different story) had a helluva fun time. Silly birthday boy kept asking if I was enjoying myself, as though my constant laughters and jumping around wasn't evident enough. I was fretting about how out of place I felt initially though, coz all the girls came in pretty dresses and heels while I was in my shorts and flipflops! Anyway.....................................

(left) As per my Facebook caption, "Carrot. These people shove the weirdest things on skewer sticks."
(right) Someone brought over red wine, cutely packed in a plastic disposable packaging, complete with a tap for dispensing! How adorable, plus with its alluring name.

I've always been told not to play with my food, but I couldn't help it. They smoked the poor purple brinjal till it turned brown, soft and gooey. And ahem, the end result kinda was my colour......

This was the contemplating period whether or not to jump into the pool, and risk coming out and having to put on the same clothes.

A handful did strip and jump into the pool in the end; pictures are all available at Facebook. :)

(right) Ahhhhh... Mr. McDreamy... That. Nose. And. Eyes. Seriously, he's gonna laugh his pants off if he were to know I gush over him! Anyway, dude's already back in London, so I am not pressured to be that embarassed for now.

Had this picture taken and realised how we come from different Di*geo markets across the world, which I find super cool especially when we are all of different nationalities. I'm a sucker when it comes to national cohesion because frankly speaking, my geography is that damn bad. I don't know what countries are in Europe, if Ireland is part of Great Britain, what countries are in the Middle East or whathaveyous. So I always take the opportunities to ask friends about their respective countries and gain information from there. I'm such a nerd. Singaporeans on the other hand, are a boring bunch. Noone loves Lee Kuan Yew as much as I do. All they do is to diss him and await his death because they claim that a public holiday will commence on the day he dies. MEAN FUCKERS. You won't be here if it wasn't for him ok! Nabei..

So anyway, I better be off to sleep now. Can't wait to meet the above people in a few hours time! :)

ORD-oh!

Last exam paper on October end was such a pain in the ass, but heck, I'm so glad everything's over now and I won't have to worry anymore about reports, assignments or exams. Yey!

There's always something about British Indian guys that makes me go weak in the knees. Maybe it's the thick accent, maybe it's the abundance of body/facial hair, maybe it's the tanned skin colour, or just maybe it's the mix of East and West. I just think they're the sexiest species alive! Anyway, hope the dude have a safe midnight flight back to currently freezing London. :)

The other one flying off early tomorrow morning wished me happy birthday earlier this afternoon. A tad too late, but it was the best wish! So good that my boss went, "Flowers, no. Presents, no. Cakes, no. Surprises, no. All didn't work for her on her actual birthday, but a simple birthday wish, a handshake and kisses from him, and she's over the moon!".

Aiya, people in love what.. Muahahahaha! Ok selamat malam.

Cheers to the most adorable birthday cake I've ever received in my entire 22 years of life!

Thank you all for your lovely bouquets of flowers, your birthday cakes, your surprises, your presents, your treats, your hugs and all your sweet love notes. Really appreciate the influx of birthday wishes and well wishes through Facebook, emails, tagboard and SMS-es.

Sincerest apologies though, for not replying to any one of them because I wasn't really in the birthday mood. Today was just one of those days when I try all I could to be happy, but it just didn't work out. If only my initial plan had been well into place.. Yes, me is STILL sour about that. Oh well. Happy 22nd birthday to me.

But anyway, thanks to all, from the bottom of my 22-year-old heart. :)

Halloween 2009

Halloween was at Stereolounge and China One,
It was super duper uber fun!
Everyone dressed up for the occasion,
And whatever happenned there stays there for a reason! :)

Photobucket Photobucket

That afternoon after my final exam paper, I told Mom I was going out partying at Pan Pacific in lieu of Halloween, and needed her help with my sash pronto! And so she did. :)

Moi was Miss Singapore 2009. -.-
Abyan was sailorgirl.

Photobucket Photobucket

Charles was a construction worker.
Fay was being her usual hot sexy self a.k.a Princess Leia.
Michael was god-knows-what. But he said I'm just dumb because everyone else knows what he was.

Photobucket Photobucket

Paul was another construction worker too.
And so was Adam.

And then we all went nuts. When we woke up, it was already a brand new afternoon of what I thought was a fantabulous November.
