Bad week! Saturday, February 18, 2012 9:34 PM
Why are people so pretentious these days? There is rarely an authentic being left on this planet....
Anyway, voice's gone, replaced by endless croaks and continuous coughs. No doctors for me please. I just need you. You, your love and your care. And then nothing else matters.
I love you. So much.

The intent of this post is to make myself feel guilty for all the carbs and calories I have been consuming for the past few weeks. I think I'm getting complacent ever since I found out I've lost 7kg to date. Heh heh.
Ahh, food glorious food. Let's join in the drooling!

No carbs every two weeks in a month Saturday, January 21, 2012 12:35 PM
Happy holidays to all! I have no plans for this festive season, which is actually a good thing because at least I won't be piling up on the CNY calories :)

Am on my way to accomplishing my New Year Resolutions. 6kg down to date, and have successfully completed my first no-rice-no-noodles-week.
Happy Chinese New Year! Thursday, January 19, 2012 5:13 PM
It's that time of the year again! Yippee to long holidays!

^ You know, I don't really care if it's the year of the dragon, or the rabbit or any animal for that matter, just ensure the above keeps rolling in :)

^ Our company CNY lunch this year was at Four Seasons Hotel. Not bad actually, but wished there was shark's fin soup incorporated in the 7-course meal. Kekeke!

^ This has got to be my favourite- salmon & surf clam yu sheng.

Keep the good fortune, excellent health, knowledge and wisdom coming in!

No, you don't say you love a girl with all your heart but you go around fucking every single stinking vagina that appears in front of you. All along you had the fucking nerve to doubt the one girl who had full trust in you and had all along been faithful. Just because of your goddamn personal insecurities, you never had trust in her and was always indirectly accusing her of being a slut. Now you're regretting and begging for her to come back to you.
Too bad for you, no girl will tolerate that. What were you expecting- for her to readily accept you back? Fat hope.
FRESH NEW START! Tuesday, January 10, 2012 11:45 AM
Did I mention that one of my new year resolutions is to return to the gym?
When I enrolled myself in Fitness First sometime in June 2010, I was a frequent gym-goer. If I wasn't in the office or at home, I would be at the gym every evening. As a beginner, I started off with light free-weigths to tone myself up, which gradually made me stronger. So much stronger that I find myself obsessed in lifting 20lbs of weights on each hand every time I work on my upper body. It was also getting quite awkward always being the only female in the weights section and lifting heavier weights than some of the men were. I kinda felt macho!
I was a weights-lover. Period. I loved my muscles.
Cardio? Contrary to popular belief, I suck at cardio. I'd give myself a million excuses just to avoid cardio. A "just ten more minutes with weights" always stretched longer, after which I will always feel too sore to do cardio and will skip it entirely. My stamina level is unbelievably atrocious; I could barely run continuously for more than 2 minutes. It is still atrocious now, BUT I'm very determined to build it up- a combination of running & swimming laps three times a week.

This year, I intend to go less on the weights and more on the cardio. I'm aiming for a continuous 10-minute run by middle of this year, and to do a 2.4km run under 12 minutes by the end of the year. It may sound pathetic, but hey, at least I'm off on an achievable head start!
Just after one week of workout and every single inch of my body aches like mad, even sitting down is now a chore. Serves me right for being a lazy bummer for the past 6 months! Why did I even stop my gymming momentum in the first place?! Silly.
Goodbye 2011 Thursday, January 05, 2012 12:06 PM
I will always remember 2011 for all the mental and physical obstacles it had unnecessarily thrown to me. But one can't go on being persistent about holding on to negative thoughts, because how else to give way to potential happy memories and events if one doesn't let go of past unhappiness right?
Looking back, here are some of the most significant things that happened to me in 2011:
- Moved out to The Bayshore and now to The Waterina, the latter, an expensive decision I cannot afford to regret in the next 2 years
- Underwent an operation at Gleneagles Hospital
- Quit smoking
I do have my set of resolutions like I always do- I'm motivated and confident in sticking to them!
Had it not been for the floodings in Bangkok, I would have spent my New Year's there. Oh wells, there's always a next time! The whole lot of us had our countdown at Gallery Hotel and went clubbing afterwards amidst alcohol bottles, rounds of shots and beer towers- typical Singapore style party.

Oh hello 2012, please be nice.
